18/08/2005 - 11:19

Indiawood is the largest trade show for the Woodworking industry in India and the South-Asian region. It is held every 2 years and the next edition will be in February 2006.

In 2004, close to 13,000 visitors from India and other countries attended the event. 223 exhibitors from India & abroad attended the show that covered an area of over 10,000 sq. m.

Organizers expect further strong growth in visitor and exhibitor numbers in 2006.

If you sell wood products or woodworking machinery we recommend you exhibit from February 16-20, 2006 in Bangalore at the 4th edition of Indiawood.

Exhibiting spaces and tariffs

If you decide to participate as an exhibitor you have the possibility to choose between two options:

Shell scheme (minimum 9 sq. m.)
Includes space, walls, carpet.
Price is Rs. 6,000 per m2 for Indian companies and 138 USD per m2 for foreign companies

Bare space (minimum 36 sq. m.)
Price is Rs. 5,000 per m2 for Indian companies and 115 USD per m2 for foreign companies.
