The spruce lumber exports of German sawmills are also in the annual closing statement clearly negative. In December 249.953 cbm were exported, decreasing 11 percent. The export value declined 5 percent. Looking at the period from January to December the amount of spruce lumber exported from Germany declined 20 percent to 3.76 million cbm, corresponding to a value of 57.4 million euro, down 24 percent.
