| Deutsche Beteiligungs AG acquires majority in Homag Group AG |

Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and its co-investment funds DBAG Fund IV and DBAG Fund V have acquired the majority in Homag Group AG. The private equity investor announced it has signed agreements to that end with other shareholders in the company. Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and its co-investment funds will be acquiring 43.0 percent of the shares in Homag, a manufacturer of woodworking machinery for the furniture and construction supplies industries. Currently already holding a 21.4 percent stake, Deutsche Beteiligungs AG will then control a 64.4 percent interest; of that, 32.6 percent will be attributable to both co-investment funds. The remaining 35.6 percent of the shares will remain in the hands of the present family owners.
